皇后与瘦子

丹尼尔·卡卢亚(《逃出绝命镇》《黑豹》)将主演环球新片《皇后与瘦子》(Queen & Slim)，已定档2019年11月27日北美上映，明年1月开拍。该片是一部复杂的剧情片，讲述一对黑人男女“皇后”和“瘦子”第一次约会，开车被警察叫停。之后的发展跟《逃出绝命镇》就不一样了：两人因自我防卫杀死了那名警察，随后没有自首，而是一起亡命天涯。希望藉由这个爱情故事探索美国的社会和政治。女主角皇后正在选演员，计划用新面孔。 《无为大师》《头号玩家》的丽娜·维斯编剧，她的《无为大师》导演搭档Melina Matsoukas执导，这也是后者首次导演电影。剧本是基于《百万碎片》作者、争议作家詹姆斯·弗雷写的一版剧本进行改编，新电影公司Makeready注资。
