小满（石小满饰）和妹妹小佳（马佳饰）在路上拾到了一个名叫“小铃铛”的报幕木偶，妹妹小佳考虑到小铃铛可能还有演出任务，主张立刻还给木偶剧团。小满主张先让自己玩几天再送还剧团。兄妹 俩发生争执，小满抱起小铃铛径自跑开，小佳不依，紧追至公园，却不见了小满。在公园里遇见了两个正在挑选苹果的顾客（上官云珠和凌元饰），在她们的指引下，小佳去找交通民警警察叔叔（于洋饰）帮助寻找哥哥。原来此时的小满跑进公园后，躲进摇船独自玩着小铃铛。他玩了一会儿，不知不觉睡着了。在睡梦中，他看 见小铃铛活了起来，急着要去参加演出，说服小满放他回剧团去。小铃铛召来一匹飞马，驮着小满一起腾空而去。他们在空中遨游一阵后，来到剧团演出地点木偶展览会，小铃铛陪伴小满参观了各式各样的木偶，其中就有以（陈强）为原型的魔术师为小满表演了精彩的节目，并盛情邀请小满 登台表演。但是奇怪的事情发生了……
